Happy Wednesday. I made this card for my husband. Simply a 5×5 inch white card stock base, lovely printed paper, puffy hearts and dot and black velvet trim from Studio Calico’s February kit, and these cute stamps from Close to My Heart. I colored in the little daucsend with a couple of shades of Copic markers (E37 and E39).
Here’s a photo of the stamp set, which is available from CTMH as a hostess reward, which I chose for the cute and versatile images. Send me a message if you’re interested in it.
I love this stamp set! It has a ton of sayings in this cute typewriter font, and a cute vintage typewriter image. This month of April, it is available for $5 with a $50 order, or $17.95 if purchased with an order under $50, at Close to My Heart (http://papercraftjoy.ctmh.com) . As soon as it arrives to my door, I will be making a notecard set with a matching holder and will post again. Cheers!
Here is a simple masculine birthday card. It is 4×6 and made with a couple of papers, washi tape, black circle puffy stickers. And a birthday sentiment sticker. The striped paper is a scrap of vellum paper printed with shiny copper stripes! I love it.

I am so proud of these double layout scrapbook pages that document a recent day trip to New York with my sister. I fussed over it for so long, and kept changing the photos and pocket cards, and was stumped by having a lot of photos of one particular highlight – our visit to Nintendo World (so nostalgic!). I took a tip from an on-line class at Studio Calico and created a mini flip book of 3×4 cards using washi tape. Check out the red card on the layout to the right – I also tied yellow twine around the first page, and aside from being adorable, it holds the two top page down. I must to remember this idea in the future!
I used pocket pages from Becky Higgins, Project Life, and cards and stamps from Studio Calico. I’m catching up on my 2014 album and I’m up to September! Cheers.
I’m so excited to share this scrapbook layout. It documents my son’s third birthday – I had so many sweet photos, all square, from the party. This grid was an easy way to arrange them, and I tried mixing up the black and white photos and perspectives. I used papers and embellishments from Basic Grey’s RSVP collection. I use pocket scrapbooking, and this is one of the first times I’ve created a 12×12 layout to tell a story.
These cards were a lot of fun to make. I used paper from Heartfelt Creations and ribbon. These papers are so pretty that all I did was to cut out the center panels, distressed the edges with ink and attached them to the middle of the card using sticky foam pads. I also raised the sentiment on the second card up with stick foam after inking the edges with distress ink.
I love how this mini book turned out! I used patterned papers and embellishments from Basic Grey (Hey Boy collection), cut files from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge by Close to My Heart on my Cricut Explore, a stamp set of trucks and cars from CTMH, and a few cut files from my Cricket Explore Design Space subscription for the dump trucks. Having the cut files minibus (it even cut out the holes on the left side!) and matching paper collection made this project super fast! I completed it in 2 hours.
